Description
Delicious baked salmon fillets topped with a creamy Boursin cheese spread, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
- 1 package (5 oz) Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
- Prepare the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the dish. Pat them dry with paper towels to help the seasoning stick. Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice evenly over the fillets.
- Season Well: Sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over each fillet. Gently rub the seasoning into the salmon for extra flavor.
- Add the Boursin: Divide the Boursin cheese into four equal parts. Place a portion on top of each fillet. As it bakes, the cheese will melt into a rich, creamy sauce.
- Bake to Perfection: Bake uncovered for 15–18 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through. The Boursin will melt into a creamy topping, slightly golden at the edges.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm. Pair it with roasted green beans, mashed potatoes, or lemony rice.
Notes
- This dish is great served with sides like roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
- For a spicy kick, consider adding some red pepper flakes to the seasoning.
