Description

A delicious and hearty salad bowl featuring ground beef, fresh vegetables, and crispy French fries topped with a special sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 2 Tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 3/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • pinch white pepper
  • 8 cups romaine lettuce (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes (halved)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup pickle slices
  • 13 oz frozen French fries (cooked)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet brown ground beef. Cook for 5-6 minutes, breaking apart until no longer pink. Drain any grease away. Season with salt, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper. Stir to combine. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  2. If you are cooking your onions, you can dice them and mix them in with the raw ground beef to cook. Or in a small skillet over medium heat, cook for 5-6 minutes in a little bit of olive oil until they are softened.
  3. Cook your French Fries according to the package instructions.
  4. To make the special sauce, mix everything together in a small bowl until well combined. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
  5. Assemble the bowls by dividing the lettuce between 4 bowls. Top with the meat mixture, tomatoes, cheese, pickles, onions, fries, and drizzle the sauce over the top.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding diced jalapeños to the meat mixture.
  • This recipe is easily adaptable for gluten-free diets by using gluten-free Worcestershire sauce.
