Instructions
- Prepare the Cheese Filling:
- In a bowl, combine mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, chopped chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and smooth.
- Assemble the Wontons:
- Lay a wonton wrapper flat on a clean surface.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of cheese filling in the center of the wrapper.
- Brush the edges of the wrapper with beaten egg.
- Fold the wrapper in half diagonally to create a triangle, pressing the edges to seal tightly.
- Fry the Wontons:
- In a deep frying pan or pot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat until hot.
- Carefully place the wonton triangles into the oil, a few at a time.
- Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve:
- Arrange the fried wonton triangles on a serving plate.
- Garnish with chopped parsley.
