Description

This delicious chocolate chip skillet cookie is perfect for sharing and is best served warm with ice cream.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 10-inch cast iron skillet.
  2. Beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then add to the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips, reserving some for topping.
  6. Press dough into skillet and top with reserved chips.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden on the edges and set in the center.
  8. Cool slightly before serving, ideally with ice cream.
