Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Mix in peanut butter.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla; beat until well combined.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for about 10 minutes or until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
  8. Let cookies cool completely before dipping in melted dark chocolate.
