- ½ cup butter, softened
- 3 ¾ – 4 cups powdered sugar (plus more as needed)
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream together the cream cheese and butter until well combined.
- Add the powdered sugar, adding more sugar as necessary to reach the desired consistency.
- Beat in the vanilla until the frosting is fluffy.
- Use finished frosting to frost cake or cupcakes.

- This frosting can be adjusted for thickness by adding more powdered sugar.
