A delicious creamy steak alfredo pasta dish that’s perfect for a romantic dinner or special occasion.

- 2 ribeye steaks (about 8 oz each)
- 300g fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta:
– In a large pot, boil salted water and cook the fettuccine until al dente according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest. Set the pasta aside. - Prepare the Steaks:
– Season the ribeye steaks with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
– Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
– Add the steaks and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium rare. Adjust time according to desired doneness.
– Remove steaks from the skillet and let them rest. - Make the Alfredo Sauce:
– In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add butter.
– Sauté the minced garlic in the butter until fragrant (about 1 minute).
– Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
– Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
– Season with salt and pepper to taste.
– If needed, add a little reserved pasta water until reaching the desired sauce consistency. - Combine Pasta and Sauce:
– Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce.
– Toss until the pasta is well-coated. - Serve:
– Slice the rested steaks thinly.
– Serve the creamy Alfredo pasta on plates and top with sliced steak.
– Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
- Make sure steaks are at room temperature before cooking for even cooking.
- Let steaks rest after cooking to retain juices.
- Adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding more or less pasta water.
- For a more robust flavor, add a splash of white wine before adding the cream to the sauce.
