Ingredients
- 2 cups pulled pork, cooked and shredded
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup tangy barbecue sauce
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup caramelized onions (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish

Prepare the Pulled Pork: Mix the cooked and shredded pulled pork with the barbecue sauce. Ensure the pork is well-coated.

Prepare the Bread: Spread 1 tablespoon of softened butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.

Assemble the Sandwich: Lay two slices of bread, buttered side down. Sprinkle a portion of cheddar and mozzarella cheese on each slice. Add a layer of barbecue pulled pork. Optionally, add a layer of caramelized onions. Sprinkle more cheese over the pork layer. Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
