A delicious grilled cheese sandwich featuring pulled pork and a blend of cheeses.
Ingredients

- 2 cups pulled pork, cooked and shredded
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup tangy barbecue sauce
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup caramelized onions (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Pulled Pork:
Mix the cooked and shredded pulled pork with the barbecue sauce. Ensure the pork is well-coated. - Prepare the Bread:
Spread 1 tablespoon of softened butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread. - Assemble the Sandwich:
Lay two slices of bread, buttered side down.
Sprinkle a portion of cheddar and mozzarella cheese on each slice.
Add a layer of barbecue pulled pork.
Optionally, add a layer of caramelized onions.
Sprinkle more cheese over the pork layer.
Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up. - Cook the Sandwich:
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add the olive oil.
Place the sandwiches in the skillet, cook until each side is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-5 minutes per side. - Serve:
Remove from heat and let the sandwiches cool for a minute.
Cut each sandwich in half and garnish with fresh parsley.
