Description

A simple recipe for shredded chicken cooked in a crockpot, perfect as a side dish or for use in other recipes.


Ingredients

  • 3 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/21 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in crockpot and pour broth over the top.
  2. Brush the chicken with olive oil or add cubed butter on top of the chicken.
  3. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  5. Shred and serve hot as a simple side dish or use in other recipes calling for shredded chicken.
