- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, and flour until combined. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan to create an even crust layer.
- In another bowl, whisk together grapefruit juice, eggs, and remaining granulated sugar until smooth. Pour over the crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center. Let cool completely before slicing into squares.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.
- These squares can be served chilled or at room temperature.
