- 1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20)
- 8 crunchy taco shells
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Form the ground beef into small patties (about 2 tablespoons each).
- Place patties in the skillet and smash down with a spatula until flat.
- Cook for about 3 minutes, then flip and sprinkle cheese on top. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until cheese melts.
- Assemble tacos: add a patty to each shell, followed by lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup, and mustard.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to add other toppings like sour cream or jalapeños for extra flavor.
- Use leaner beef for a healthier option.
